Included in nearly 50 private and corporate collections, Ruth Ann Frazier's work is well known throughout Chicago and the Midwest. Sculptures currently on view in the area include Shadow Play installed on the campus of the College of Lake County in Grayslake and Shore Birds, recently purchased and installed at the Ecology Center in Evanston, Illinois.

She works in corten steel, cutting and welding it to create impressionistic images, often inspired by nature and natural forms. Fleeting contrasts of rigidity and movement, straight and jagged cut forms, light and shadow, and positive and negative impressions offer a mysterious quality that suggests personal emotions or states of mind.

Ruth Ann frequently works on commissions. She also continues to show her work throughout the area.
